Playa Kenepa 

Escape the bustle of Willemstad and head to one of Curacao’s prettiest stretches of coastline—with clear water, sandy shores, and a vibrant reef, it’s the perfect place to while away the day. Kenepa Beach is composed of two beaches separated by a mile of rocky headland, which offers a great lookout spot. You can hop between the beaches or simply pick your favorite and settle down in the sun.

Grote Knip (officially Playa Kenepa Grandi) is very popular with the locals. They’re right! Swimming and sunbathing in the most beautiful surroundings of Curacao. For the well-trained swimmer, the reef is accessible from the beach, but it is quite a distance, so be careful. Much closer to the beach you can snorkel very nicely at the rocks on either side of the beach.

Local dishes, snacks and drinks are regularly for sale. But don’t take into account that it is possible. So bring your own drinks and snacks.

Kleine Knip (officially Playa Kenepa Chiki) is also very popular with Curaçaoans. Here you come with the whole family for a day on the beach to play, swim and even have a barbecue. So don’t expect to have the beach to yourself, especially during the weekend!
