The view from Raphael on Klein and Groot Piscadera is splendid. The colononial home is located against a hill with a barn and a pittoresque villagesquare.
The plantation Raphael used to have a pretty large live stock and plaster was being sold there. It turned out that the plantation was not very lucrative and it was sold at auction in 1852 to a salesman from out of town, who used the colonial home as a country house. In 1976 the house was hit by a whirlwind. At this moment the house is pretty much deteriorated.
While Searching for Information I found this video on youtube. I must say..what a pity to let all those Landhuis ruined with time and no one is doing nothing to help keep the Patrimoine.
